Numerical Parametric Study of Fully Encased Composite Columns Subjected to Cyclic Loading

This paper investigates the cyclic behaviour of steel-concrete encased composite columns. By investigating cover concrete and coefficient friction on (strength, ductility, stiffness, energy dissipation) columns subjected to combined axial load cyclically increasing lateral improve strength performance column. Eight were designed study effect, eleven other effect in dynamic load. Additionally, this study, finite element models created ANSYS software verified calibrated against previously published experimental results (load-displacement curve, capacity failure mode). The numerical obtained from model indicate that ductility dissipated increased by +11.71 +18.93% receptively increase until reaching limit concrete.
